Are you passionate about the protection and management of waterways?
Would you like to use your skills and knowledge to help GMW and other key agencies develop priority actions to protect and enhance important environmental cultural and recreational values associated with the management of facilities and public access at GMW storages and waterways?
We are looking for people from the community, business tourism sectors and recreational groups and users with a range of skills, knowledge and experience, to become members of the Lake Eildon L&OWMP Implementation Group.
The Group is a vital part of implementing the Land & On Water Management Plan. The process brings together agencies, stakeholder groups, users and the community to develop, action, and source funding for, and initiate projects and programs that will protect and better manage the waterway and adjoining perimeter lands.
The Implementation Group will also include representations from local councils and other groups and agencies involved in the management of and provision of access, public facilities and services at Lake Eildon.
Find out more about the current Land & On Water Management Plan here.
You can download an Expression of Interest form here.
Expressions of interest close at 4.45pm on Friday 2 June 2017.
