Amended management Plan available for comment

In November 2015 the Minister for Water appointed the Katunga Consultative Committee (the Committee) to advise on amendments to the Katunga Water Supply Protection Area (WSPA) Groundwater Management Plan.

The Committee have not developed a new groundwater management plan; rather they have developed a draft amended Plan in line with the Terms of Reference established by the Minister for Water.

The Committee invite comment from groundwater users and the community.  Community feedback will inform the final recommendations in the Committee submission to the Minister.

The draft amended Plan, the original plan and the instrument of amendment are available below. Additionally, groundwater users and the community can use the submission form to provide feedback.
